The amazing sound adventures of the Lobo family

TARA-TA-ZUM is a sound journey through sounds and stories from around the world. A family of wanderers, reminiscent of the exotic characters from Gabriel García Márquez's masterpieces, brings back from their travels and offers the audience the relics of numerous adventures: rare, almost extinct sounds, sounds from other worlds and other cultures. Through sound scores, the three travelers open windows for listeners/spectators onto distant and unknown worlds, coming from the six different continents.
Bizarre navigators, the three protagonists carry with them
luggage that actually hides pop-up sets,
from which the dreamlike and poetic scenarios of the narrated
stories emerge.
The show will be conceived and constructed to be
performed even in open spaces; in conventional theater buildings
the traditional spatial relationship between
performer and audience will be manipulated and modified.
The scenic area is outlined by the large carpet-map which,
unrolling on the ground, draws the coordinates of the scenic
space and becomes both a summary map of the journey and
a place of performance.
The sound score will create an acoustic scene parallel to
the visual one.
