Antony and Cleopatra is the site-specific staging of William Shakespeare's famous work.

A four-actor adaptation that focuses on the relationship between the two lovers, following the scenes that unfold within the play.

Directed by Roberto Andolfi

THE PERSIANS

Show adapted from The Persians by Aeschylus and created through the use of radio headphones. The chorus of the Persian people is waiting for the return of King Xerxes and his men from the

war against the Greeks. The show brings to the stage a theme, war, whose logic still today finds easy footholds in a mistaken sense of superiority and in the failure to recognize the values of the Other.

The values of pity and mercy at the heart of Aeschylus' text are reinterpreted with a more contemporary spirit.

THE SUPPLIANTS

Show adapted from The Suppliants by Aeschylus and realized through the use of radio headphones. The tragedy tells the story of the arrival of the Danaids, fleeing from the violence of their Egyptian cousins, on the

shores of Argos. To the Greek land, the women, as suppliants, will ask for inviolable

asylum. An ancient work that questions the theme of migrants of yesterday and today.

Adaptation, direction and choreography by Annarita Colucci

With:

Roberto Andolfi, Valeria D'Angelo,

Tah Anatole Touzahouin, and the students

of Sapienza University of Rome.
